Cheap and Cheerful, Chipper Chocolate Mug Cake

While I've been craving chocolate cake, no one else in my house seems to be sharing that craving with me. So instead of making a really large cake and having it go stale over the week, I devised a recipe to get miraculously moist, superbly spongey and delightfully decadent chocolate cake all in 3 minutes in a mug using only measurements of 3. 3 flour, 3 sugars, 3 milk + a couple extras, very simple to follow. In this case our 3 sugars are split between chocolate powders and standard sugar

It is the perfect treat for those miserably rainy days. I find myself drizzling it with chocolate or toffee sauce and sometimes adding a scoop of ice cream.

Being such an easy and fast dessert to whip its sure to impress anyone after a dinner date too.

3 tbsp of Plain Flour

1 tbsp of Dark Cocoa Powder (can be replaced with milk, I just like the richer flavour)

1 tbsp of Milk Chocolate Powder

1 tbsp Sugar

3 tbsp of Milk

1 tbsp of Vegetable Oil

1/2 tsp of Baking Powder

1) Mix all your dry ingredients in your mug.

2) Add your wet ingredients and mix until a thick batter forms

3) Blast in an 800w microwave for 1:30

4) Serve on its own or with ice cream and sauce.

That's it?

Yeah seriously, it's that simple... I've had 7 of them in the last 2 days as of writing this.

I love this recipe and it's so unbelievably easy to do. It so fast in fact, I've been making this cake while queuing for ranked Apex Legends matches and still making it back in time to drop out of the jumpship - most of the time... sorry guys.
